Chromotherapy, sometimes called color therapy, is a complementary medicine method. It is said that a therapist trained in chromotherapy can use light in the form of color to balance “energy” wherever a person’s body is lacking, whether on physical, emotional, or mental levels
The Vedas, or Practitioners of Ayurveda medicine believe the body has seven “chakras,” or energy centers, and which are held to be located along the spine. In New Age thought each of the chakras is associated with a single color of the visible light spectrum, along with a function and organ or bodily system. According to this view, the chakras can become imbalanced and result in physical diseases but it is believed that these imbalances can be corrected through application of the appropriate color. Meditation is a very powerful tool especially when done with the help of a little imagination! Just find a quiet spot where you can relax, place your bear feet on the ground , palms facing up on your thighs. Close your eyes and start breathing slowly from the nose , exhaling from the mouth. Let your imagination take you to the colors you naturally like best and imagine that with each breath a new color is entering your body and filling it whole. Once done, slowly turn your palms downward and open your eyes.
Food can either be your medicine or disease and it is always more appetizing to look at when it is vibrating with color. The feeling you have while eating affects you eating habits and digestions.
