Every year, on Jan first , we wake up with the best intentions to put our lives on the right track. And every year , around the same time we are hit by the fact that the road to hell is paved with those same intentions , we end up NOT losing those extra pounds, NOT going to the Gym, NOT smoking less and the downhill fall picks up speed!

1- Be Realistic
You need to pick something that you are actually going to be able to do. And think Baby steps!
2- Make your resolution public!
When you pick your resolution make sure to tell your friends about it or even tweet about it! This way you would be validating it, making a pledge and increasing your chances to stick to it!
If your resolution is to go to the Gym everyday and you end up skipping one day, do not punish yourself with a bag of chips and your favorite soap opera then give up on the resolution all together! Just take it easy and put on your running shoes the next day!
