It seems it happens every year! We let ourselves go between nuts, chocolate, gravy and all that Punch! But do not panic! This year can be totally different if you Honor the 10 weight control commandments!
1- Thou Shall Not Go to Party Hungry!
Make sure to have a salad and some protein right before you head to those holiday gatherings! And when you get there rule number 1 is :”Small plate please!” .
2-Thou Shall Not Skip Exercises!
Its the worst time of the year to skip exercise! Burn those extra Calories half an hour per day and enjoy a stress and worry free holiday!
3-Thou Shall Have one sweetie per day!
Don t disregard your need for those sweet treats! Just limit your consumption to one small portion per day!
4- Thou shall be mindful about your meals!
So you had an Epic meal for lunch, had some wine with friends and enjoyed a desert! Now try to stick to green salad for Dinner but Never skip your dinner!
5-Thou Shall Keep yourself Hydrated!
Water is the elixir of Life! Never forget that.
6-Thou shall cook healthy!
Forget the butter on your potatoes, use some olive oil and herbs instead! Basically cut on the fat, salt and sugar in your dressings and main dishes!
7-Thou shall consume Steamed Vegetable!
Make sure you have a good portion of steamed vegetables next to your turkey on Christmas
8-Thou shall keep the leftovers!
Send the sweet goodies home with your guests and keep the healthy baked and steamed dishes in your fridge!
9- Thou Shall never hit the Mall on an empty Stomach!
Plan your shopping according to your lunch or dinner time. Never go there hungry since you ll just end up snacking on a fattening burger! Wont you?!
10-Thou Shall Have Fun!
