One of the traditional dishes during Ramadan is Fattoush. This simple-to-do salad differs from house to house, from area to area and from restaurant to restaurant.
Chef Yamen showed us how to prepare this amazing Fattoush Salad. Check out the recipe below:
- Green Onion
- Rocket leaves
- Toasted bread
- Sweet pomegranate sauce
- Olive oil
- Lemon Juice
In a large bowl, toss the lettuce, tomato, radish, cucumber and green onion and mix.
Then toss the purslane, mint and rocket leaves.
Add the toasted bread on top.
Sprinkle with sumac and salt.
Pour sweet pomegranate sauce, pure olive oil and lemon juice.
Mix well and voila the best fattoush!
