Helwi El Hayet’s episode 18

Hi all,

Our main guest today was actor and performer Joseph Azar who talked about his current role in the play “Opera’s village”. He shared with us the success of the play in the United States and how they were featured in a Washington Post article.

We also met with Lebanese and Egyptian author Mishka Jabbour Mourani who talked about her new book called “Alone together”.

She told us that it was the civil war in Lebanon and the social and human relationship between the people that inspired her to write this book that was later on translated it with Aida Yacoub Haddad.

Choreographer Nadra Assaf talked about the International Dance Day Festival that will take place from the 23rd till the 29th of April. “Dancing is good for the soul. It makes us appreciate life more”, she said.

During out third break we managed to take a picture of our beautiful hosts Carla and Elise

Our next guest was physical therapist Mazen Matar talks about back pain and physiotherapy. He revealed the most popular reasons for back pain:

– stress

– lack of exercice


– bad posture

He also shared with us the newest physiotherapy methods to heal people from this horrible back pain. He advised all the people that suffer from back pain to walk and swim for at least 30 minutes, try to lose weight and try to rest as much as possible.
