We began our episode with music composer, sound engineer, sound designer, university professor and filmmaker Nadim Mishlawi and wife sound engineer Rana Eid. Nadim Mislawi recently directed a documentary about the Karantina ghetto “Sector Zero” in which Rana Eid was the executive producer. This documentary won the Muhr Arab Feature documentary award at the last Dubai International Film Festival.
During our weekly image consultancy segment, image and fashion consultant Maya el-Tal gave us tips on how to choose the perfect, flattering and timeless LBD also known as the Little Black Dress. Check out the LBD Maya herself is wearing and how she accessorized it with a beautiful neck piece.
President of the Autism Association for Social Integration Rima Faddoul Doumit joined us on today’s episode. The association was founded in February 2010 by three families of children with autism. Their mission is to “provide understanding about autism to make the world a better place for everyone on the autism spectrum”. Did you know that autism now affects 1 in 110 children and 1 in 70 boys? Did you know that more children will be diagnosed with autism this year than with AIDS, diabetes and cancer combined?
Hope you enjoyed our episode today. See you back tomorrow.
