Helwi El Hayet’s episode 3

Hi all,

Our main guest was MP Jamal el-Jarrah who talked about his childhood and upbringing in the Bekka region. He also shared with us details of his daily routine from waking up to reading the newspaper then going to the Parliament and finally chilling out at home during the night. He shared with us his love of travel that is unfortunately almost a 100% for work purposes and confessed that he misses his former career in finance.

During our design segment, architect and jeweler designer Simone Kosremelli talked about “Dehab which is a basic concept is to create a permanent space to promote local artists and jewelry designers.

One-man shows as well as group shows with specific themes will be launched every five or six weeks. The jewelry industry is a prime industry in Lebanon and its artisans are gifted and skilled. In parallel, many young jewelry designers are working freelance but do not have a decent environment to promote their creativity.

Artisitic director Hicham Jaber talked about the second season of Cabaret Show in Metro Al-Madina called ”The Flaming Agent and The Double Dancer”. This cabaret show consists of 5 acts of stand-up comedy, live music, dance and theatrical performances. A magical night with 14 artists covering the space of 3 hours.

This show gathers fans from 20 till 70 years old that lose themselves in this musical show that takes them away from their daily problems.

Director and writer Andrew Hraiz discussed his new social/thriller movie called God is Dead. The movie revolves around two characters from two different backgrounds that live in the same house but decide later on to kill each other.

Designer Nadine Zeeni told us all about the New Spring/Summer collection and trends as well as her experience in designing bags using exotic leather. She shared with us pictures from her latest designs.

Hope you enjoyed our episode today.
