Helwi Beirut’s episode 39!

Hi all!

Today’s episode was full of interesting guests, reports and segments. Our main guest was managing director of Memac Ogilvy Lebanon, Naji Boulos. Born in Lebanon and graduated from St Joseph University with a Master in Business Administration, Naji then travelled to Paris and specialized in Marketing. He started his career in paris in 1987 and as of 2003 he became the managing director of Memac Ogilvy in Lebanon. He is also the President of the CERAM Alumni Club in Lebanon and teaches advertising at the St Joseph University.

Finding love with clothing is possible this Valentine’s Day. Image and fashion consultant Maya el-Tal guided us through choosing the appropriate outfit for this Valentine’s day. Is the red color the only color suitable for Valentine’s day? How to wear a red dress? What are the other colors we can choose for this special day? Maya el-Tal answered all those questions and more and made it so easy for us to choose our Valentine’s outfit. What about you?

During our weekly book segment, Fadia Abdoush discussed Christine Durham’s book, Chasing Ideas: The Fun of Freeing Your Child’s Imagination. In this book Christine Durham shows parents and teachers how to discuss ideas with children and at the same time help children become brighter thinkers.

Visual artist, Taline Kechichian talked to us about her new solo exhibition “Whiter than Snow” opening on the 10th of February.

Hope you enjoyed today’s episode and see you back tomorrow.

Love,

Helwi Beirut
