Comedy, politics, art and fashion on Helwi Beirut’s episode 11

Hi all,

Our main guest todays is former MP Mosbah el Ahdab who talked to us about his childhood, his political career as well as his social and humanitarian work in Tripoli.

We also met with fashion consultant Maya El Tall who helped all the men out there to have the perfect closet and chosing wisely and fashionably the latest fall trends and must-have items every man should own in his closet.

Our next guest was photographer Michelle Aoun, she is a student at IESAV, USJ. She shared with us her photographs and talked to us on how she focuses on the image via a good eclairage. She worked with Roger Moukarzel as an art director and a wardrobe stylist. She loves to capture nature in her pictures while using retro and vintage clothes or gadgets.

We also met with Comedian Nemer Abou Nassar who revealed the winner of the N.E.M.E.R award. The winner of this contest will have to make the funniest video with the topic “What is wrong with men?”. He explained to us how he chose the jury and how the whole process took place.

Our next guest was designer Sara Mrad who revealed her collection during the Dubai Fashion Week. She studied at ESMOD and started working on her collection one year ago. Her collection features pret-a-porter, swimsuits and formal dresses.

We also met with artist Michelle Kassaf Malek who talked about her recent art exposition called Interdependance that started the 13th of February that works on the difference between “them” and “us” and the lack of communication between people in Lebanon through sculptures.
