Shoe design, recipes and more on Helwi Beirut’s episode 89!

Hi all,

Our last episode in 2011 was full of interesting guests and delicious dishes! Our main guest was Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Balamand University Dr. Nina Zeidan. She told us about the way she manages to balance between her working life and her family life.

Shoe designer, Leila Naamani joined us. She studied graphic design at AUB and worked in the advertising field, something completely differenet than what she is doing now. She then travelled to New York, studied at Parsons School of Design and came back to Lebanon a year ago. She launched her line “Laylat” and is now preparing for the summer collection.

Like every Friday, Chef ramzi joins us and prepares an exquisite dish. Today he prepared “Mont Blanc”. You have got to try this at home. Check out the recipe below.
