Predicitons, music and much more on Helwi beirut’s episode 82!

Hi all,

Violin instructor and violinist Camille Moutcha was a guest on today’s show. A group of kids ranging from seven years old to 14 years old joined us and played the violin live in the studio. Camille Moutcha is of Greek origin, living in lebanon and married to a Lebanese woman, but does not speak Arabic. He teaches the violin and plays in many musical concerts such as the ones of Majida el-Roumi.

Maguy Farah joined us on the show and gave us a glimpse about what astrology shows will happen in 2012 in addition to the horoscope predictions. Check out her book cover below!

15 year old daughter of Assi al-Hallani, Marita al-hallani was a guest with us on the show today. She shared with us her experiences and told us about the first time she went on stage and sang. In 2007, in Malaysia she sang for the first time with her dad for the event “Children of the World”. For this holiday season, she sang Justin Bieber’s song “Mistletoe”. Check out Marita singing below!

Rima Barakat, volunteer in BETA was a part of our show today. BETA is currently organizing a campaign to raise awareness about the dangers of buying pets as Christmas gifts. The “dumping season” comes right after Christmas when people who get pets as gifts neglect them and dump them. Every pet owner and every person who gives a pet as a gift  should be reponsible towards this pet.

Hope you enjoyed tonight’s episode and see you back on Monday!

Love,

Helwi Beirut
