During our book segment, Rachel Khalil Halik talked about the book “Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man” by author Steve Harvey.Men are simple, women are complicated.Three objectives constitute the DNA of every man; who they are, what they do and how much they make. When a man loves, he demonstrates it by the three P’s. He Professes his love to his woman, he Provides money without her need to ask it and he Protects his woman. Woman, on the other side, are complicated. They need four men at the same time, the rich old man who provides and does not demand sex, the gay guy who communicates with her, the Mandingo who satisfies her physically and the ugly man who cover her needs. Men like the chase and women are their prey and according to Steve Harvey there are two kinds of prey, the sports fish which is an easy target that has no expectations for the relationship and the keeper who is smart, demands respect and claims it. Why do men betray? Well, Steve Harvey explains that they betray because they can, there is another woman out there, they think they can get away with it, they need to discover what they want or because the spark at home is gone. A woman in a relationship should identify short-term and long-term objectives, inquire about his familial and religious relationships and finally ask her man how he thinks and feels about her. This is why a woman should have confidence in herself and should not fear losing a man. Confidence gives her beauty and men worship beauty.
