Hi all!

In our show today, we featured interesting guests and informative reports and segments. Our main guest was Dr. Salwa al-Khalil al-Amin who shared with us personal stories and talked to us about her family life and children. We also talked about the legendary musician and poet Orpheus with Gerrard Bejjani, featured a report about Steve Jobs and many more!

Gerard Bejjani talked to us about the Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice.

Orpheus was a legendary musician and poet who had the ability to charm all living and non-living things. He lived his life normally until he met Eurydice, the love of his life. But the rustic god saw Eurydice’s beauty and desired it. She ran from him in fear and so it was she stepped on a poisonous snake which killed her with its bite and her spirit went to the underworld. Orpheus was devastated, but decided to bring back his wife Eurydice. With his lyre, Orpheus went to the underworld and begged his great uncle Hades to allow his wife to come back to earth with him. Hades agreed but under one condition. Orpheus had to promise that during the trip he would not look back until both he and his wife are back to Earth. During the trip, Orpheus was worried so he risked a quick look behind him and lost his wife forever. The myth of Orpheus and Eurydice is one of the most famous and beloved Greek myths it is a myth about love, passion and about the weaknesses of the human spirit.

Steven P. Jobs, Apple chairman and former CEO who made personal computers, smartphones, tablets, and digital animation mass-market products, passed away on October 5th, 2011 after a long struggle with pancreatic cancer. He was just 56 years old.
