Clemence Achkar, Katya Traboulsi, BETA and Beyoncé on HWM’s episode 15

Hi all!

Our episode today hosted Miss Lebanon 1998 Clemence Achkar, who shared with us her life after being elected, her marriage and her philanthropy work. Other guests included painter and writer Katya Traboulsi, who talked about her upcoming exhibition titled “The Other,” and L’Atelier Du Je founder Patricia Nammour and with the supervision of Câline Bernoty. The two women led certain people interested in acting, but who are not real actors, to create 14 scenes and show them to the public at the Masrah Beirut on September 22, 23 and 24 at 8:30 p.m. More info here.

Among the guests were BETA Association members Helena Husseini and Sevene Zahran who talked about the organization’s work. Did you know you can adopt a pet and even leave yours at BETA in case you’re travelling? You can also offer temporary housing for pets who are up for adoption.

For our book segment, we picked “Why is God laughing?” by Deepak Chopra, while language body expert Habib al-Khoury talked about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s relationship, saying Angelina is the dominant person in the relationship.

Chef Ramzi taught us how to prepare potato slices with white cheese, mango chutney and shrimps.

As for our reports, we shed light on Beyonce’s recent announcement that she’s pregnant as well as show designer Julien MacDonald’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection during London Fashion Week. Watch them here!

Have a great weekend!

One Response to Clemence Achkar, Katya Traboulsi, BETA and Beyoncé on HWM’s episode 15

  1. Millard Reys says:

There are tons of good tv shows to choose from to say it’s the best. No matter what is said though, there is no doubt that this show ranks #1 of all of them. Yes, there are shows that are a bit older but this one still has charm. There is comedy, sex, and a little darkness, easily moving it up to the top. They just don’t make them like this nowadays.
