Hi all!

On today’s show, we hosted Lebanese composer Jean-Marie Riachi and his wife Karen, whose tunes have been used by the most popular singers in Lebanon, such as Majida Al-Roumi, Elissa, Rami Ayach and many others. Check his website here.

We also talked to Lebanese designer Dima Rachid about her designs, mainly for bags. Dima is a landscape engineering graduate, who started designing custom made bags only a year and a half ago. Christine Khaghadou tells about the ceremony Metropolis, Cervantes, the French and Spanish embassies are organizing to pay tribute to surrealist artist Luis Bunel.

We also interviewed Jean Kassabian who spoke to us about the 4th edition of the Beirut Jazz Festival, to take place in Solidere, Beirut.

Nutritionist Mireille karaka Harmouche follows up on last’s week subject, the grocery list, specifying the items that must be on our list and which include: vegetables and fruits, dried fruits and seeds, fish, tea and dark chocolate.

Last, but not least, Barbara takes us to Kfardebian where she learns from Charbel Chamoun, a Lebanese farmer, how to prepare farm-grown cheese.
